Question: What does the term 3-4 or 4-3 defense mean and what ist he difference?
ResponderEliminarAnswer: The first number refers to the number of downline man in that particular defensive scheme. The second number is the number of Linebackers in that particular defensive scheme. For instance the in the 3-4 that means you have 3 down lineman (players that put atleast one hand on the ground) and 4 linebackers (players that play in a two point stance or standing upright). The 2010 Bulldogs used variations of the 4-3 defensive which means 4 defensive lineman and 3 linebackers. Thanks for the great Question.
